I’m a children’s librarian by day and a children’s author-illustrator by early morning/late night/whenever the picture-book section isn’t in full stampede mode. I see what kids reach for, reread, reject, hug, and occasionally attempt to chew.

I still can’t say no to popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners, so I use a combo of cut paper, fabric, thread, and the occasional googly eye to give my digital illustrations a cozy, handmade feel.
